The New #806 Coya+ Women’s Specific Visor Ski Helmet
New this ski season the Coya+ line of visor ski helmets has been designed specifically for the style and comfort of female skiers. This is the lowest profile helmet made by CP Sports and the result is a helmet that is more aesthetically pleasing and less top heavy than other ski helmets. While this difference may sound subtle the difference in your skiing experience is substantial as well as the visual difference in comparison to more bulky helmets.
The elegant soft blue color is also a new introduction and at the specific request of the woman on the CP ambassador team. This color stands apart from the wealth of black and gray ski helmets you see on the slopes while still working well with a variety of color ski jackets. The Chevron design element was implemented into the venting system turning a functional element into a fashionable element.
The #806 baby blue visor ski helmet has a luxurious cashmere lining from Loro Piana. Once you experience the comfort and warmth of skiing with a cashmere lining in your helmet you will never want to ski in a traditional wool lined ski helmet again. The lining is removable so you can wash it and keep it clean for many years of use.
This helmet also comes with the Infinity Adjustable Ventilation System that lets you control the atmosphere in your helmet with the slide of a lever. The earpads are also removable, this servers two purposes, it allows you to wash them and it allows you to further adjust for changing conditions. In the middle of winter with the earpads on and the vents closed you will be warm in any temperature, on sunny spring days remove the earpads and open the vents and you have the protection you want and need without overheating.
With the ODSA (Omni Directional Shock Absorption) protection system CP visor ski helmets offer a high level of protection against different types of falls. The ODSA system is designed to protect you from not just falls that are perpendicular to the slope but angled falls as well which are the type of fall that can often cause concussions. Built with two separate polystyrene shells that are connected to one another by three gel pads creating a helmet that when struck at an angle effectively absorbs the blow and deflects it in all directions.
The #806 comes with two popular visor options at different price points for your budget. Both visors are Double Lense visors offering increased protection from facial impacts, aks the dreaded face plant. The primary difference between the two options are the optimal light conditions they are designed for and the #26 is a Polarized Lens while the #20 is not. Both are Vario lenses allowing them to change for lighting conditions.
DL Vario WP Mirror Visor #20
The #20 visor is a “Water Pink” Vario lens designed for low light that with the Vario capabilities adjusts to changing light conditions. This visor is optimized to accentuates the texture and contours of the snow in poor light allowing you to ski confidently in these conditions.
DL Vario BR Pol Ice Mirror Visor #26
The #26 visor is the premiere Polarized Vario ski visor from CP Sports. This lens has it all, the double lens has a Polarized outer lens and an anti-fog coating between the lenses. The Polarization improves contrast on sunny days when the intense light can wash out details on the slopes, this and the Vario functionality make the #26 one of our most versatile lenses for all skiing conditions.
The #806 women’s specific visor ski helmet really has it all, a low-profile design, a fresh attractive color, comfort and safety, and the benefits of the visor of traditional goggles and built with Swiss CP quality so you can count on it for years of skiing.
