The New #802 Coya+ Women’s Black Visor Ski Helmet

New this ski season the Coya+ is designed specifically for women with a lower profile and clean design that feels great and compliments any look with a distinctly European designed visor ski helmet.

The #802 is a black soft-touch color with black earpads for female skiers who like a classic yet edgy ski helmet. The chevron design on the earpads is mirrored in the vents giving the helmet a continues design element that also servers a purpose, the union of fashion and function. We love this black soft touch look more than a shiny black as it is more subtle and has a more confident appearance not needing to call attention to itself, content to be a part of your look not the focal point.

Climate

This helmet has a removable wool blend lining that can be washed for years of use. The wool keeps you warm while the blended material makes the lining soft to the skin resulting in a lining that feels and works great.

The Infinity Adjustable Ventilation System is easily controlled while wearing the helmet and with your gloves on. The location and ease of use of the slide allows you to dial in your comfort on the fly even in the middle of a run as you do not have to take the helmet off to reach the control.

With the earpads on and the vents closed this helmet will keep you warm in the coldest mid-winter conditions, take the earpads off and open the vents and you have a helmet made for spring skiing.

Safety

Omni Directional Shock Absorption System (ODSA) is designed to protect the skier not only in perpendicular falls but angled falls as well which have been linked to concussions. Additional temple and forehead protection is provided by a glass fiber-reinforced polyurethane cushioning ribbon that is affixed to the shell of the helmet. All CP visor ski helmets are European CE Test Seal and American ASTM approved.

Visors

The #802 comes with two visor options to give you two different price points. The #26 and the #31.

DL Vario BR Pol Ice Mirror Visor #26
This #26 is a double lens ski visor that has a Polarized outer lens and an anti fog coating between the lenses.  The Polarization increases contrast on sunny days when bright light can wash out the details on the slopes. A very versatile lens for any weather condition thanks to the “Vario” effect that allows the lens to get darker on sunny days. It features a high contrast level for cloudy and snowy days and is also equipped with a light blueish mirror further reducing the glare effect.

SL Clear Silver Mirror Visor #31
The #31 is a basic single lens visor that is still good for all weather conditions thanks to the silver mirror properties. While the mirror properties allow you to see well in brighter light skiing the clear lens also is good for flat light conditions. This lens is like all CP visor lenses equipped with anti-fog coating in back of the lens and has 100% UV protection. There is enough space under the visor to wear eyeglasses or sunglasses.
