Visor Foam Strips

Description

Visor Foam Strips is a replacement foam strip for when the original strip has gotten dirty or shows signs of wear. The strip is snapped on at three different points and can easily be removed and exchanged. The thicker 1 inch strip is helpful for a skinny face to achieve better contact with the face. These strips come with instructions on how to exchange but see details below for brief instructions.

Visor Foam Strips come in two shapes and two sizes. Make sure the shape you are selecting matches your visor.

For the size, there is a half inch and a one inch option. All original visors come with the half inch foam strip. If this is a good fit for your face this is the replacement you should choose. If you feel like there are any openings between your face and the visor the one inch foam strip can offer additional protection.

The two visor shapes and corresponding foam strip options are Square and Round. See a list of visor model numbers per shape below.
Square Visor Models: 18, 19, 22, 25, 31, 20, 21, 23, 27, 30, 29, 28, 26,
Round Visor Models: 1, 2,3, 4, 7, 8,9,10, 12, 13, 14, 15,16

How to install visor foam strips.

Its easier to take the visor off the helmet to remove the strips The foam strips are held in place with plastic snaps in 3 locations. Left and right and in the center of the visor. They need to be pried out by inserting your dump between the lens and the black strip frame. Best and easiest is to start at either the left or right end of the visor. This is pretty tough to do once that is done your are ready to install the new one.

To snap in the new foam strip, line up the snaps with the hole in the black plastic strip and press hard until you hear it snapping in. This

To be firm. You might need to use basic pliers to snap in. Careful not to damage lens but ok since pliers touch, on both sides, against plastic in front and foam in the back.
