It has no mirror on the outside which further increases the contrast and therefore is one of the best bad weather visor if not the best. The light to medium orange filter still protects 100% UV rays.

Visor Forms 1.6 versus 2.7. The #19 orange mirror visor is in the newer Form 2.7 and is the follow up version of the #1 orange mirror visor. Form 1.6 is CP’s traditional teardrop visor shape that is round at the bottom of the visor. Form 2.7 is the newer developed shape which is square shaped at the bottom of the visor. This increases the coverage of the face and works well for all size faces.
Being just a single lens this also allows more light through than our double lenses, one more thing about this visor making it ideal for low light conditions. The low price point also makes it easy to purchase a second visor for sunny ski days. Two good options for a second visor to pair with this one would be either the DL Vario Gold Visor #30 or the  DL Vario WP Mirror Visor #20. These are both double lenses that work great in bright light conditions and are in the lower price range of our double lens visors as they are not polarized lenses.
