Description
CP Ski Visor #26 DL Vario BR Pol Ice Mirror part of COMFORT LENS range in the 2.7 square bottom form.
This all-weather visor is suitable for all light conditions but its specialty is increased contrast vision in flat/low light conditions. For sunny days the vario function will darken the lens and the polarization provides excellent glare protection. The mirror lens has an anti-fog coating. CP‘s self tanning visor effectively supports and relieves your eyes in changing light conditions. 100 % UV protection. The polarized lens reduces reflections on snow and ice and increases contrast.
Visor Forms 1.6 and 2.7 Form 1.6 is CP’s traditional visor shape that is round at the bottom of the visor. Form 2.7 Visor DL Vario Pol Ice Mirror is the newer developed shape which is square shaped at the bottom of the visor. This increases the coverage of the face and works well for medium and small size faces.
Whats the difference between single and double lens visor
For flat light and snowy weather conditions I recommend to use a single lens visor because the visibility through one lens is better than through 2 lenses.
The disadvantage is the fact that the anti fog coating is exposed in the inside of the lens. This coating is slightly sticky and if rubbed will come Off. The cleaning if wet has to be done very carefully and can only be dubbed no rubbing.
This problem is solved with the double lens visor because the coating is in between the 2 lenses and therefore cannot be damaged. The tradeoff is that the visibility through 2 lenses is slightly filtered or reduced.
